Cephalexin And Alcohol

Cephalexin should not be combined with alcohol. It is a common fact that a person under medication should avoid alcohol consumption.  Cephalexin antibiotic has an indication on their packaging materials that it is not be taken when a person is drinking any form of alcoholic drink.  Patient’s history shows that drinking alcohol may cause nausea and stomach upset.
